Advertisement - Cars in the 60s

The concept of wide-narrow is often used in advertising concernig cars. Below you can see in the same advertising both the concept of wide and narrow. in fact the little child is discovering the inner space of the Ford that although is not a wide space, for him it is!

In this way, Ford insert its car in a wider concept comparing it with the Space the new discovery of the 60s.

In this other advertising the concept of wide-narrow is giving from the perspective effect caused from the white and black strips.

Advertisement - Car spot, wide vs narrow

Often in cars spots the car is insert in wide landscape. It runs among open field, mountain and hills. Advertising men placed the car in this contest to obtain a sense of freedom and desire to run. We can see this, in the spot of Fiat Grande Punto of 2008.

"The Narrow Way" is a section on the studio half of Pink Floyd's fourth album Ummagumma. It was written and performed by David Gilmour and is divided into three parts. The only musician to feature is the composer (in this case, Gilmour), who recorded the song using multiple overdubs to play all the instruments himself.

Part one of the song was called "Baby Blue Shuffle in D minor".

Part two features an electric guitar and percussion which modulate heavily at the end, forming a drone that leads into part three.

Part three of the song features Gilmour's only vocal contribution to the studio part of the album.

Eyes Wide Shut is a 1999 American-British drama film based upon the 1926 novella Traumnovelle (Dream Story), which was written by Arthur Schnitzler. The film was directed, produced and co-written by Stanley Kubrick, and was his last film. The story, set in and around New York City, follows the sexually charged adventures of Dr. Bill Harford, who is shocked when his wife, Alice, reveals that she had contemplated an affair a year earlier. He embarks on a night-long, eventful sexual adventure, during which he infiltrates a massive masked orgy of an underground cult.
